Aerating
Tool
The easiest way to mix up your compost pile.
Compost needs oxygen to break down organic material. Just push the cutting
end of the Aerating Tool deep into your compost heap and pull it out. As
the tool is withdrawn the four hinged blades open to lift and stir
material from within, which increases oxidation and speeds decomposition.

Compost
Machine
This
is more than just a big composter...it's a composting machine!
What sets this
highly-engineered, German-made composter apart from all others (tumblers,
bins, and the like) is that it churns and mixes organic waste, separates
the finished product from the still decaying material, and places it in
its own chamber for easy removal. No other composter does all that.
Tumblers mix material, but they don't chop it up and they don't separate
the compost from the decaying material. With a bin you have to manually
aerate the decaying material and wait until it's all turned to compost
before adding more.
The Compost Machine is truly a revolution
in high-tech, high speed composting. Here's how it works: Organic material
goes in the top. As soon as a few inches of material accumulates, you
begin the aeration and mixing process by turning the crank every 3-4 days
for just a few minutes (8:1 reduction gearing makes for effortless
operation).
Inside, the large auger slowly
spins--turning, chopping, and mixing the organic material--while also
rotating around the inside of the composter. This spinning action leads to
extremely fast decomposition. Then, as the organic matter breaks down, it
is sifted and pushed through a screen at the bottom of the composter and
into a separate chamber where you can scoop it up with a shovel. In just a
few weeks you'll have buckets of ready-to-use compost, with plenty more on
the way!
